I am writing about the returned THE JUNGLE BOOK BLU-RAY from Order #111-1526918-0333848. The item was returned in a package with the Soul Blu-ray and The Poseidon Adventure Blu-ray, which Amazon received on September 27th. Amazon acknowledges the package containing all three items was returned, as those other two items are listed as "Return Complete". Yet, The Jungle Book is still listed as not returned.
I chatted with an Amazon rep on October 9th about this issue, and the rep told me that she saw that The Jungle Book was returned and received by Amazon on September 27th. She said that she would turn off the return reminder, yet today, October 30th, I received an email telling me that if I don't return the item (that Amazon already received on September 27th) I will be charged again for it on November 9th.
First of all, the "advance refund" was given by Amazon's system when the package entered the UPS system, so Amazon already knows that the item is *not* in my possession. Second, The Jungle Book was included with two other items that are listed as being "Return Complete", yet this item is not being listed as such. I already chatted about it with an Amazon rep on Oct. 9th, and the rep acknowledged that The Jungle Book was received.
Even Amazon's Messaging Assistant, used to start this chat, says, "OK, looks like we received this item. Thanks for returning it."
This is not the first time this has happened, but it's going to be the last time.
