“Video Nasties!”

A group of ghosts take over a low-rated TV station, and the Ghostbusters are hired by the station manager to deal with the problem.  The Ghostbusters arrive to find an Egyptian motif inside the station and a horde of ghosts ready to fight them.  If that wasn’t enough, they also come face-to-face with The Nameless One again!  Ghosts, Mummies and bad reruns…could this mean cancellation for the Ghostbusters?
Special Features:
     Bonus pin-up.
FYI: This story was also featured in Marvel UK’s Real Ghostbusters #104-107.
FYI: Page 3-A TV commercial satirizes Sigourney Weaver’s role in Aliens.  Sigourney Weaver was also Dana Barrett in both Ghostbusters movies.
FYI: Page 4-
    TV: “Newly Dead Game”
This is a spoof of The Newlywed Game.
FYI: Page 5-Egon works on a machine identified by Peter as Ecto-3.  When Ecto-3 debuted on the animated series as a compact motorcycle that stores in the rear fender of Ecto-1, this Ecto-3 became Ecto-4 in later issues.  There was a similar problem during filming of Ghostbusters II; Ecto-1A was originally named Ecto-2 until producers decided there would be too much confusion between it and the helicopter known as Ecto-2 on the animated series.  In a couple of the montage shots, you can see that the Ecto-2 license plate has been blurred out before it was replaced with Ecto-1A.
FYI: Page 5-Peter also mentions Ecto-2, which never appeared in the NOW series.
BLOOPER:
Pin-up: The cover image was reversed, putting Peter’s no-ghost logo on the wrong arm and backwards.
