“That Ol’ Devil Called Love!”
A ghost is harassing the Ghostbusters, and they have no clue as to why.  Looking up the name it keeps calling, Nanjine, they find she was the Sumerian goddess of love.  However, their discovery does little to help when Janine becomes possessed and begins calling out for the ghost, Goosebumple!  It’s a 3000 year old lover’s quarrel and the Ghostbusters are caught in the middle.

“Spengler’s Spirit Guide” Part 36
    All about love.

“Say It With Ghosts!”
Slimer is lonely, so the Ghostbusters decide to help by finding him a girl…er, ghoul.  It took a while, but they found his perfect PKE match in New Orleans.  Returning, they present Slimette to Slimer…only to have him run away.  Now there are two very slimy Slimers running around the firehouse, leaving the Ghostbusters to figure out how to stop them before their home becomes engulfed by slime.

“Siren”
Janine’s on vacation and the Ghostbusters are looking for a temporary receptionist.  They get an applicant, Wanda, and Peter falls instantly in love with the beauty.  However, there’s something fishy about their new receptionist…something that could wound Peter extremely deep!

“Blimey!  It’s Slimer!”
Slimer’s got a Valentines day card for someone, but who could it be?
Special Features:

Page 4 EGON:  “It seems that Nanjine…is the name of a Sumerian goddess of love!”
In reality, the Inanna is the Sumerian goddess of love, as well as fertility and war.  She’s often described as fickle, first attracting men and then rejecting them.

Page 5PETER: “I hope she doesn’t become like Dana and start growling like a dog!”
A reference to the first movie where Peter’s love interest, Dana Barrett, was found possessed by Gozer’s minion Zuul and floated above her bed growling at Peter.  She would later be transformed into a terror dog upon Gozer’s arrival.

FYI: “Say It With Ghosts!” is a play on the phrase “say it with flowers.”

FYI: “Siren” was also featured in NOW’s Real Ghostbusters 1992 Annual.

The help-wanted sign has the firehouse listed at being on 77th and 5th, which places it near the uptown area by Central Park on the East Side.  The real firehouse is actually located downtown at N. Moore and Varick on the lower West Side.
