The Short Stories of Walter Flanagan, Rudy the Museum Guard in Ghostbusters II

In the late 1990s/early 2000s, I wrote letters to several Ghostbusters cast and crew members. Yes, actual physical letters sent through snail mail. I received lots of replies with autographed photos, some with hand-written notes answering my questions, and even a few with additional goodies. One that included all three was from Walter Flanagan, who played Rudy the Museum Guard in Ghostbusters II. Read on to find out more...
On February 15, 2001, Mr. Flanagan signed a personalized photo for me that was inscribed, "Thanks for your loyalty. Long life".
He also included a cassette tape of him dramatically reading three short stories that he wrote. (This takes up the first 15 minutes on Side A. The remaining 30 minutes, and all of Side B is blank.)
On the inside of the case liner Walter wrote, "This tape starts slow." I still don't know what that means, unless it is referring to there being five or ten seconds before the first story starts.
In addition, there was a hand-written and signed note, dated February 15, 2001, stating that Mr. Flanagan has the copyright on the three short stories, but that if I can use them for anything, I have his permission to do so.
Well, it has taken me 25 years, but I am finally able to share the contents of this cassette tape with other Ghostbusters fans. Do bear in mind that these stories are NOT Ghostbusters-related, though that should be obvious from the titles. Also, the noise heard in the files embedded below was present in the original recording. (My original recordings can be downloaded from the Spook Central Patreon page as lossless flac files in case you have the ability to properly remove the background noise.)
• Doggie Doo (A Satire) (10:18) - The latest drug craze that has taken over the city is Doggie Doo.
• Lil Darlin (2:35) - An old man, at the end of his life, laments over a lost love.
• Blademan from L.A. (A Satire) (1:34) - A killer (O.J. Simpson, obviously) who got off on a technicality.
Sadly, Mr. Flanagan passed away on July 25, 2007 at age 78, so he isn't around to see this post. Perhaps one of his relatives will stumble across it and take some solace in seeing his memory being kept alive.
