For Sale: iPod Touch with Beeline Ghostbusters & Paranormal Blast Games Installed

I have an old iPod Touch with the now discontinued Beeline Ghostbusters & Paranormal Blast games installed on it that I'm looking to sell. Read on to find out more...

Back in late 2011, I got an iPod Touch 8GB, 4G (4th Generation, 2011) [technically 4.5/5th Generation]. I stopped using it around 2017 when I upgraded to an Android tablet, and later also an Android phone with a bigger screen than the iPod Touch. For the past seven years, the iPod Touch has sat untouched. I kept it around thinking I might want to play the games that are installed on it... but I never went back to playing them. At this point, I don't see myself ever playing it again.

While the device is severely outdated - it can no longer connect to Apple services (iTunes, app store, mail, etc.) - most of the games and apps are still usable/playable. That includes the Beeline & Paranormal Blast Ghostbusters games, which are no longer available from the app store. I figured that there might be some interest in this device for these otherwise unavailable games (a full list of games and apps is below).

The device by itself was going for $200 at time of release in late 2011. Obviously, the device depreciated in value tenfold since then, but I think the games add some value back to it. I'm not an expert in Apple devices, but think $50 + $10 U.S. shipping - - is a good price for the device with the games that are installed on it, which even includes 100 full Atari 2600 games! All of the original packaging, wires, earbuds, and papers (though they have stains on them) are included. The small device (a little bigger than 4" x 2") is in great shape, with only minor scuffing (no bad scratches) on the screen and the back. The back features the Optimum and Apple logos above the "iPod" title and "8 GB" notation. The firmware installed is iOS 6.1.6. Full specifications on archived Apple site. Although it can no longer connect to Apple services (iTunes, app store, mail, etc.), all of the other apps and games I had installed on this device still work. Includes the following games and apps:

The device includes my old Apple account so that you can play the games on the device. I'm not sure if they would still work if I deleted the account from the device. Do note that any in-game purchases (with real money) and updates may not work, unless the game servers are still active. I was able to play a little of each game recently, but you may have to grind in order to progress if you can't buy anything to help with progression. Also, I do not know if any of these games have an "ending" that can be reached if no further updates can be downloaded. For that reason, I'm selling this "as is", but if you have reasonable expectations, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
