Warner Brothers recently released the Manifest: The Complete Series DVD. Read on to find out more about it...
[ SYNOPSIS ]
When Montego Air Flight 828 landed safely after a turbulent but routine flight, the crew and passengers were relieved. But in the span of those few hours, the world had aged five years - and their friends, families and colleagues, after mourning their loss, had given up hope and moved on. Now, faced with the impossible, they're all given a second chance. But as their new realities become clear, a deeper mystery unfolds and some of the returned passengers soon realize they may be meant for something greater than they ever thought possible.
[ EPISODES ]
The 14-disc set includes all 62 episodes from all four seasons that aired on NBC and Netflix from 2018 to 2023. The image below, which is a scan of the case interior, lists the entire disc breakdown.
[ SPECIFICATIONS ]
The show is presented in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio in anamorphic widescreen. The show is Not Rated. Audio languages include English. Subtitle languages include English SDH.
[ SPECIAL FEATURES ]
There are no special features.
[ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ]
No digital copy code voucher is included. However, the thick, clear 14-disc DVD case fits inside a side-loading slipbox. There is no liner booklet, but the interior of the case artwork lists which episodes are on which discs. Sadly, just like with The Powerpuff Girls, Warners chose to use one of the crappy cases where the inside part that holds the discs isn't attached to the outside, and the discs are hard to get out because the clasps that hold them in place have zero give to them. Look like I'll have to buy a replacement 14-disc case online and hope it will fit in the slipcase.
[ NOTES ]
Manifest: The Complete Series is available on DVD only. There is no Blu-ray release, which is perplexing for a 2018 series that was clearly filmed in high definition. Anyway, it's a good show and an intriguing mystery. I will not say any more, lest I spoil it. Check it out for yourself.
