A sly blend of Western parody and rapid-fire action, starring Lee Marvin in a dual role as noseless ("It got bit off in a fight") gunslinger Tim Strawn and as Kid Shelleen, the woozy, boozy has-been who goes up against him. Jane Fonda co-stars as Catherine "Cat" Ballou, the schoolmarm-turned-outlaw who teams up with Kid. Singer Nat King Cole and comedian Stubby Kaye also appear, singing the title song, "The Ballad of Cat Ballou."

[ NOTES ]
Cat Ballou (1965) is available on Blu-ray and DVD. This is a fun little Western comedy, which would pair well with Alias Jesse James (1959). RECOMMENDED, though I should point out that if you want an Isolated Score Track and an extra featurette ("Lee and Pamela: A Romance"), in addition to everything on this Sony release, there is a limited edition Blu-ray release from Twilight Time that came out in 2016. It's now out-of-print and going for a high price, so unless you really want those two extra extras, this new Sony release is perfect.
