[ NOTES ]
The Lady From Shanghai (1948) is available on 4K UHD (Sony), Blu-ray (Kino Lorber), Blu-ray (TCM), Blu-ray (Indicator), and DVD (Sony). The 4K UHD from Sony that this review is about is missing extras from each of the other releases, including the DVD. So, if you want everything, you need to buy them all. If you don't care much about extras, this new Sony 4K UHD gets the job done with a fantastic ultra high definition transfer of the classic film noir masterpiece. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The movie was adapted from the novel "If I Die Before I Wake" by Sherwood King.
