Lionsgate recently released the Borderlands (2024) 4K UHD. Let's take a look at it...
[ SYNOPSIS ]

Her mission is to find the missing daughter of Atlas (Edgar Ramirez), the universe's most powerful SOB. Lilith forms an unexpected alliance with Roland (Kevin Hart), a seasoned mercenary on a mission; Tiny Tina (Ariana Greenblatt), a feral pre-teen demolitionist; Krieg (Florian Munteanu), Tina's musclebound protector; Tannis (Jamie Lee Curtis), the oddball scientist who's seen it all; and Claptrap (voice of Jack Black), a wiseass robot. Together, this ragtag team goes on a mission to save Tiny Tina, battle alien species, and discover one of Pandora's most explosive secrets. [ NOTES ]
Borderlands (2024) is available on 4K UHD + Blu-ray (Standard Pkg), 4K UHD + Blu-ray (Amazon Steelbook), 4K UHD + Blu-ray (Walmart Steelbook), Blu-ray + DVD, and DVD. I played a little bit of the original Borderlands games on the PlayStation 3 - Borderlands (2009), Borderlands 2 (2012), Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (2014) - and Telltale's Tales from the Borderlands (2014) game, but I'm not intimately familiar with the characters. So, I didn't go into the movie with any high expectations of it being a 100% faithful adaptation of the game series. I recognized some of the characters - Claptrap, Tiny Tina, Mad Moxxi - but others were new to me. As such, I enjoyed the film, even though the story was the tired trope of "person who doesn't know they're the special". Go in with an open mind, and you'll find a fun and exciting film.
Several featurette video clips have been made available by Lionsgate's press department, so go check those out: Claptrap, Tiny Tina, Krieg, Krieg and the Psychos, Outrunner: From Game to Film, and Claptrap Trailer.
