Tyrone Tackett's brother wasn't the kind of man to throw his life away. Somebody killed him, plain and simple. And by the time Tyrone (Bernie Casey) crisscrosses L.A. and pieces together the crime, lots of folks are going to pay. From Watts to the West Side, from porno parlors to a high-rise, from motel dives to a crime kingpin's sprawling pleasure dome, from corner hangouts to a wildlife preserve, Tyrone covers a lot of real estate, busts a lot of heads.

[ NOTES ]
Hit Man (1972) is available on Blu-ray and DVD. This film is the American adaptation of Ted Lewis' novel "Jack's Return Home", which was made into Get Carter - available on Blu-ray and DVD - starring Michael Caine the previous year. Both film adaptations are equally enjoyable, but only Hit Man features a nude Pam Grier :-) Did that woman ever keep her clothes on in the 1970s?!?
