Mill Creek Entertainment recently released the Icons Unearthed: James Bond Blu-ray. Read on to find out more about it...
[ SYNOPSIS ]
In 1963, Ian Fleming's literary creation got his big break on the silver screen and became the most quotable name in cinematic history. Keeping up with the changing times, the Bond films would embrace the Civil Rights movement, the space race, and the end of the Cold War. How did Bond enthrall audiences for over 60 years, surviving a failing creative partnership, six different lead actors, multiple lawsuits, competing films, corporate takeovers, and two complete reboots?

[ NOTES ]
Icons Unearthed: James Bond is available on Blu-ray only. Each "season" of Icons Unearthed is a different multi-part "episode" about a single film series. It was made by the same crew who produced The Toys That Made Us and The Movies That Made Us, and if you've seen either of those series, you'll have an idea as to what to expect here. I suspect that even a die-hard James Bond fan will learn something over the many hours of interviews and information presented here.
Mill Creek already released all of the previous seasons on Blu-ray:
01. Star Wars (March 12, 2024)
02. The Simpsons (July 2, 2024)
03. The Fast and the Furious (September 10, 2024)
04. Marvel (January 14, 2025)
05. James Bond (April 1, 2025)
The seasons have been released in order, so Batman (season 6) should be next. Keep them coming, Mill Creek, and I'll keep reviewing them.
