Universal Pictures recently released the Hysteria!: Season 1 (2024) 4K UHD. Read on to find out more about it...
[ SYNOPSIS ]
When a beloved varsity quarterback disappears during the "Satanic Panic" of the late 1980s, a struggling high school rock band of outcasts realizes they can capitalize on the town's sudden interest in the occult by building a reputation as a Satanic metal band, until a bizarre series of murders, kidnappings and reported "supernatural activity" triggers a leather-studded witch hunt that leads directly back to them.
[ EPISODES ]
The 2-disc set includes all 8 episodes of the 2024 Peacock series. An episode guide is provided on the artwork's inner side, with the synopsis listed below. Although the set is labeled "Season One", Variety reported last February that the show was canceled, which makes this the "complete series".
DISC 1
1. "Hysteria" (1:00:18) - A popular highschooler goes missing, and a local band rides that momentum to sell concert tickets.
2. "Die Young" (49:07) - There is a development in the missing person's case; the town gathers for an event at the church.
3. "Can I Play with Madness" (53:59) - Dethkrunch hosts a Satanic cult meeting; Linda tries to understand what's happening to her.
4. "Dance Macabre" (47:17) - Dylan and Judith make their relationship official; Faith attempts normalcy for a night.

7. "It's Late" (50:17) - Dylan tries to put an end to what he started; restless townspeople look to Tracy for leadership.
8. "Heaven's on Fire" (51:38) - Tracy gathers the town to cast evil from Happy Hollow; Chief Dandridge closes in on the Reverend.

[ NOTES ]
Hysteria! (2024) is available on Blu-ray, and DVD. The first seven episodes are highly recommended. The last episode has a nonsensical conclusion that negates several of the events witnessed in the earlier episodes. It's best to just watch the first seven episodes and make up your own conclusion.
