Botchamania #527
By Paul Rudoff on Feb. 25, 2026 at 3:00 PM in Wrestling

Botchamania is my favorite wrestling comedy series, which I've written about many times already. The series spotlights goofs (aka "botches") in wrestling programs. In the latest episode, Botchamania #527 (February 22, 2026), a botch that I spotted was used. Read on to find out more...
At the 0:42 mark, you'll see a botch from the January 24, 2026 episode of Women of Wrestling (Episode #416 titled "Daddy's Little Princess"). Near the end of the main event match, Fury "slaps" Arianna Gambino. Though she clearly never touches her, Gambino still reacts. It's especially noticeable when watching in slow motion.
Maffew didn't credit me in the video, and he forgot to credit me in the Youtube video description for this. Normally, I would embed the Youtube video below, but at the time of this writing, it is no longer available because "This video contains content from WWE, who has blocked it on copyright grounds." I do not know if Maffew will re-upload it in an edited form, but fans have it saved at the Internet Archive. So, that copy is embedded below. I think from now on I will just embed the archived copy, especially since most of the Youtube embeds in past posts are now broken.
After watching the full episode #527 below, go check out Botchamania on Facebook (req. login) and X/Twitter, and buy something from the Botchamania Shop.
Finally, if you've never seen the (still) unused Botchamania Endings I created, check them out here.
IMPORTANT: Since it is very likely that the Botchamania episode embedded in this article will be taken down by Youtube, because WWE doesn't understand Fair Use, be sure to visit the unofficial video archive to view this episode and many more, past and present.
