Shot On Site - I Didn't Do It Rumble Juice
By Paul Rudoff on Jan. 29, 2015 at 8:25 PM in Filming Locations

The gang on the Disney Channel series I Didn't Do It hangs out at a juice bar called "Rumble Juice". Every time I watch an episode and they show a shot of the place (which I believe to be stock footage), I keep wanting to know where it is in real life.

The place doesn't look like an eating establishment to me (the "Rumble Juice" sign is added digitally). In fact, with it being under a train trestle, I had a feeling that it might actually be a train station. Sure enough, I was right, and it didn't take me long to find it thanks to two small details in the shot. In the middle of the building is a large "1558", so that gave me the address number, but that could be anywhere. The sign on the building to the right, advertising a retail space for lease, mentions it being in a "Premiere Bucktown Location".

Doing a search for "1558" and "Bucktown" brought up results for Taxim at 1558 Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago, IL. I popped that into Google Maps, and it wasn't the spot, but I noticed railroad tracks nearby on the map. I moved the icon to a spot under the tracks, and on the very first try, I found the Rumble Juice location! It's the Chicago Transit Authority's "Damen" Blue Line Train Station at 1558 N. Damen Ave., Chicago, IL 60622. It's a station on the 'L' system that serves the Bucktown and Wicker Park neighborhoods.
For more information and a LOT of photos of the Damen train station, including what it *really* looks like inside, check out Chicago-L.org (the source for the photo seen above).
As a bonus, the episode I pulled the Rumble Juice shots from, entitled "Ball or Nothing", used one other bit of stock footage that I was able to identify. A few scenes take place at the "Lakeside Athletic Club", of which we always see this digitally-altered exterior shot:

You'll notice a crimson flag hanging from the building with the happy/sad drama masks on it. That was the key to identifying this shot. It looked like it might be in New York City, so I did a Google image search for "new york drama clubs". That found me this article which had a photo showing the exact same logo as on the flag. In short, I Didn't Do It uses an old pre-2013 shot of The National Arts Club at 15 Gramercy Park South, New York, NY 10003.
