[ SYNOPSIS ]
Weathered repo man Bud (Harry Dean Stanton), in a desolate Los Angeles, takes nihilistic middle-class punk Otto (Emilio Estevez) under his wing. The job becomes more than either of them bargained for when they get involved in repossessing a mysterious - and otherworldly - Chevy Malibu with a hefty reward attached to it.

The movie is presented in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio with a runtime of 1:32:21 The movie has been rated R. Audio languages include English. Subtitle languages include English SDH.

- Audio Commentary - with director Alex Cox, executive producer Michael Nesmith, casting director Victoria Thomas, and actors Sy Richardson, Zander Schloss, and Del Zamora. Originally recorded in 1999.
- Plate O' Shrimp (19:19) - In interviews conducted in 2012, musician Keith Morris and actors Dick Rude, Olivia Barash, and Miguel Sandoval discuss the film's soundtrack, themes, characters, and more.
- Iggy Pop (11:57) - In this 2012 interview, the Godfather of Punk recalls working with director Alex Cox, his contribution to the film's soundtrack, and his thoughts on the film.
- Repossessed (25:31) - Recorded in 2005, Alex Cox, producers Peter McCarthy and Jonathan Wacks, actors Del Zamora, Sy Richardson, and Dick Rude discuss the film and its production history.
- Harry Zen Stanton (21:21) - Filmed in 2005, Harry Dean Stanton discusses his life and work.
- The Missing Scenes (25:11) - Recorded in 2005, Alex Cox, executive producer Michael Nesmith, and neutron bomb inventor Sam Cohen discuss various deleted scenes.
- The TV Version (1:36:54) - Presented in a 1.33:1 aspect ratio, this is Alex Cox and Dick Rude's re-edit for network television featuring alternate and deleted scenes, as well as family-friendly dialog overdubs.

Included inside the thick Digipack case is a small paperback book with the essay "A Lattice of Coincidence" by Sam McPheeters; "The Repo Code", an illustrated production history by Alex Cox with the original comic and film proposal; and a 1987 interview with real-life repo man Mark Lewis (along with credits and transfer information).
[ NOTES ]
Repo Man (1983) is available on 4K UHD + Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD. Criterion did an excellent job with the film transfer. The film looks fabulous in ultra high-definition, and it still holds up 40 years later. RECOMMENDED.
