Botchamania #501

Botchamania is my favorite wrestling comedy series, which I've written about many times already. The series spotlights goofs (aka "botches") in wrestling programs. In the latest episode, Botchamania #501 (November 10, 2024), several botches that I spotted were used. Read on to find out more...
From the 8:24 to 10:24 timecodes, you'll see several botches that I spotted on WWE and AEW programming. On the October 21st episode of WWE Raw, longtime ring announcer Lillian Garcia came back, and she was off to a great start. At the start of the New Day vs. Authors of Pain match, she introduced the match as a "number one containers tournament" match. She also said that Dominik Mysterio was accompanying Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to the ring, even though he wasn't. (The person who typed up the on-screen "name card" graphic botched it as well.) On the October 26th episode of AEW Collision, Tony Schiavone was having an off-night. During the Penelope Ford vs. Robyn Renegade match, Tony accidentally called Ford "Jamie Hayter"; Nigel catches him and covers for him a bit. During the Outrunners vs. MxM match, Tony accidentally called Truth Magnum by his partner's name; "Turbo trying to fight his way out..." Again, Nigel catches him. Later in the show, right after a picture-in-picture break during the Ricochet vs. Lio Rush match, a production voice is heard saying "We are live" right before Tony chimes in with the same remark. Finally, Anna Jay performed a poorly-executed backstabber to Viva Van. Listen for the "didn't get all of it" as the usual cue of a botch :-)
While I'm not credited in the video itself, Maffew gave me credit (as "Spook Central") in the YouTube video description, with Spook Central's address listed underneath.
After watching the full episode #501 below, go check out Botchamania on Facebook (req. login) and Twitter, and buy something from the Botchamania Shop - such as a non-breakable little, tiny table.
At the end is a beautiful Botchamania tribute video using "Lonely Road of Faith" by Kid Rock, which was a song that was highly popular in wrestling tribute videos 10 to 15 years ago.
Finally, if you've never seen the (so far) unused Botchamania Endings I created, check them out here.
IMPORTANT: Since it is very likely that the Botchamania episode embedded in this article will be taken down by Youtube, because WWE doesn't understand Fair Use, be sure to visit the unofficial video archive to view this episode and many more, past and present.
