[ NOTES ]
Lethal Weapon (1987) is available on 4K UHD and 4K UHD Steelbook. The quality of the picture and audio, which includes the original theatrical sound mix, is fantastic. The only fault is that all of the legacy special features found on the 2012 Blu-ray collection is missing. Had Warner Brothers still continued to include a Blu-ray disc in their standard 4K releases, this wouldn't be a problem. The new pair of retrospective featurettes are nice, if a tad on the short side, but if you want all of the older stuff, as well as the three sequels, you need to buy the Lethal Weapon Collection 4-Film Blu-ray set. (Avoid the Four Film Favorites re-release as it is missing the Collection's Bonus Disc with four additional featurettes, and, if memory serves, has the early 2006 Blu-ray releases of the first two films instead of the newer Blu-rays that are in the Collection set.
