Warner Brothers recently released the Lippy the Lion and Hardy Har Har: The Complete Series Blu-ray. Read on to find out more about it...
[ SYNOPSIS ]
Talk about odd couples. The zippy, happy-go-lucky Lippy the Lion (voiced by Daws Butler) is always looking for action. Hardy Har Har (voiced by Mel Blanc) is a hangdog, hapless hyena who never laughs. So, naturally the pair are inseparable. Constantly on the lookout for the next big score, the always-optimistic Lippy leads a skeptical Hardy into a multitude of misadventures despite Hardy's "worry-wartin'." Lippy's all sunny side up, while Hardy's trademark refrain of "oh dear, oh my" provides the comic counterpoint to all their extraordinary exploits, which travel from the Wild West and deserted isles to country clubs and racetracks. No matter the time or place, you can count on these two to maneuver into desperate danger each and every time!

[ NOTES ]
Lippy the Lion and Hardy Har Har: The Complete Series is available on Blu-ray and DVD. Of the three recently-released series from the The Hanna-Barbera New Cartoon Series programming block, Touche Turtle and Dum Dum and Wally Gator being the other two, Lippy the Lion and Hardy Har Har is the best-looking of the bunch. This is due to there being much better elements still available. All three are recommended.
